An oversized tote bag with variations to make it in ‘self’ so same fabric body as handles, with webbing handles or leather handles. The bag can be made lined or unlined – it’s up to you!
Level: adventurous beginner – a great follow-up to a sewing basics (which is a prerequisite to this workshop)! You must know how to operate a sewing machine and understand the concept of topstitching.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older);2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- We provide: thread, tools, expertise, and machines!
- You bring: yourself, a copy of the pattern instructions, 1 3/4 yard of 44″ fabric for exterior or 1 yard of 54″ fabric (Oilskin, Dry Oilskin, Linen, Mid-Heavy weight Cottons, Mid weight Denim), & your sense of adventure. See the pattern for information on length needed of webbing or leather straps.
