The simple pleasure of dragging a brush across a nice piece of paper never gets old to Rebecca. She loves watching how the paint and water absorb into parts of a surface and pool in others. Here she was using a wide brush that she got when visiting Japan, and the meandering strokes she made reminded her of a river. The long vertical strokes of this pattern add energy and height to a space.
